A woman was shot during a robbery at a gas station early on Thursday, April 28, 2016 according to police.  The robbery occurred at the B.P. West Virginia State Police spokesman Lt. Michael Baylous said dispatchers received a call about an unresponsive person Monday Night in Roane County. When Crews arrived to the home in the Gandeeville area there was a deceased male with a gunshot wound. WVSP believe it to be an isolated incident. The body was sent to a medical examiner. Investigators are currently following up on leads.

A Floyd County man has been arrested on two counts of murder following Friday night’s shooting in the Hueysville area of Floyd County, Kentucky, according to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department.
