A Kanawha County Dispatcher tells 13 News there was a robbery at The Cold Spot in Dunbar around 11:00 p.m. Sunday Night. The dispatcher says the suspect brandished a knife and demanded money. A 40-year-old West Portsmouth, Ohio man has been arrested for stealing thousands of dollars worth of stolen property. A News release from the Scioto County Sheriff's Office says Jeff Ray Carver is accused of stealing purses, credit cards, jewelry, sunglasses, clothing, make-up, wallets, cell phones, work out gear, supplements, shoes, fishing poles and other assorted items. The suspect was transported to the Scioto County Jail. The stole items will be returned to the victims.

Johnson County, Kentucky Sheriff Dwayne Price tells 13 News investigators are looking for a man who escaped the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. David Smallwood was accidentally let out of the facility around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. Sheriff Price adds Smallwood was pretending to be another inmate. Ten minutes later the facility realized the mistake, he was last seen in a black Toyota with a white door. Sheriff Price says he was in jail for assault charges.
